School Education Pro WordPress Theme Documentation

Welcome to School Education Pro WordPress Theme. This documentation will guide you. If you need any help, please see the Support section.

1. Theme Installation

a. Through WordPress Dashboard

Go to Appearance » Themes and click the Add New button.
Click Upload Theme.
Click Browse and navigate to the unzipped theme package on your computer.
Locate school-education-pro.zip, select it, then click OK.
Click Install Now and wait until the installation completes.
Click Activate to enable the theme on your WordPress site.

Note: Some servers have limited folder access settings and may not allow uploading the theme through the admin area — in these cases you must upload the theme via FTP.

b. Manual Installation using an FTP client

If you know the FTP login details for the server where your site is hosted and you have an FTP client installed (such as FileZilla), you can upload the theme using FTP.

Unzip the school-education-pro.zip file.
Use an FTP client to access your host web server and go to /wp-content/themes.
Upload the unzipped theme folder to /wp-content/themes/.
Go to Appearance » Themes and activate the theme from the Dashboard.

Unzip the download file, find the zip file named school-education-pro.zip, unzip it, and upload the folder to the main WordPress installation folder: wp-content » themes. Make sure the theme's main files are contained within a single folder inside themes.

After uploading, activate the theme from Appearance » Themes. You should see School Education Pro. Click Activate to enable the theme.

c. Plugin Installation

Download customizer-export-import.zip and upload the plugin through the Plugins section.

See the plugin page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/customizer-export-import/ — it explains how to upload and use the plugin.
After installing the plugin, activate it. Then go to Appearance » Customize » Import/Export.
Download the demo settings file (.dat):
Open .dat on themescave.com
If the file does not download automatically, save it as school-education-pro-import.dat.
Upload the school-education-pro-import.dat file in the Import section to install theme settings.
To import demo content, download the XML file and use the WordPress Importer:
Open .xml on themescave.com
Go to Tools » Import » WordPress (Run Importer) and upload the XML file to import demo content.

2. Homepage Setup

After activating the School Education Pro theme, set up the homepage as follows:

Home Page Setup

Go to Settings » Reading » Your homepage displays
Select the radio button for Your latest posts

3. The header

The header consists of three main elements:

Contact info
Social
Site Name / Logo
Menu

a. Contact info

To customize the top header bar contact information, go to Appearance » Customizer » Theme Settings » Header Phone and Email.

b. Social

To customize the top header social media links
Go to Appearance » Customizer » Theme Settings » Header Social

c. Changing the site name / logo

If you don't have a logo image, you can use the site name and tagline. To change the site name and tagline, go to Appearance » Customizer » Site identity.

Or, to upload a logo for your website, go to Appearance » Customizer » Basic Settings » Site identity » Logo. You can also increase the logo image height as needed from Appearance » Customizer » Theme Settings » General settings » Add logo height size.

d. Setting the menu

Create pages from Pages » Add New.
Go to Appearance » Menu.
Click on Create a new menu.
Name your menu and click Save Menu.
After creating the menu, add pages by selecting the checkboxes. Arrange menu items by drag and drop.
Select the theme location Primary Menu from Menu Settings.
Click Save Menu after adding the required pages and categories.
To set colors and font size for the menu:
Go to Appearance » Customizer » Theme Settings » Header Menu Settings

4. Homepage Slider

To add slides to the homepage slider, go to Appearance » Customize » Theme Settings » Banners and Slider Settings. For each slide there are different options you can apply:

Change slider effects and timing.
Adjust animation speed and pause time.
Show or hide direction navigation.
Show or hide the pager.
Pause the slide on hover.
Default slider image size: 1800 × 700 pixels

If you prefer not to use the default image slider, you can use any WordPress image slider plugin.

Go to Appearance » Customize » Theme Settings » Banners and Slider Settings » Custom Slider Shortcode Area for Home Page.
Enter the slider shortcode provided by the plugin (without PHP tags).

5. Inner Page Banner

To change inner page banner image: Go to Appearance » customize » Theme Settings » InnerPage Header Banner

To set different banner image for each individual page

Edit that page and set Featured Image
Default image size for inner page banner image is 1800 x 500 pixels

6. Homepage Section

1. Resources!

To manage this section

Click on Resources >> Add New
Then fill all fields with image size width:400px and height:250px
To show section on home page please follow these steps
Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Resources Section and bellow shortcode in content

2. About Us (Welcome to Education Hub)

To manage this section

Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » About Us Section

Click on School Features » Add School Feature
Then fill all fields with image size width:350px and height:538px

Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Video Section

6. Opening hour

To manage this section

Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Opening hour Section

To manage this section

Click on Our Classes » Add Our Classes
Then fill all fields with image size width:270px and height:205px
Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Our Class Section

10. School Upcoming Events

To manage this section

Click on Events » Add Event
Then fill all fields with images width:294px and height:340px
Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » School Events Section
Upload left Side Image of width 455px and height 655px
Post date format is depend upon DateTime Format field.

11. News Section

To manage this section go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » News Section

To Work on News Please Go to Posts » Add New then add details. After done click on publish button

12. Gallery Slider Section

To manage this section

Click on Photo Gallery Slider » Add new
Then fill all fields. Also it need width:620px and height:650px image for slider.
Go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Gallery Section

13. Testimonials

This section is used to display clients testimonials in your website

Create new posts from Testimonials » Add Testimonials
Add Title, Description, Testimonials Info and set Featured Image
To manage this section go to Appearance » customize » Home Sections Settings » Testimonial Section

To manage footer contact address section go to the Appearance » Customize » Footer Settings » Footer Contact Address Sections

To manage footer copyright section go to the Appearance » Customize » Footer Settings » Copyright & Design

10. Contact Form

To display contact form in your website

Create contact page from Pages » Add new page
Select Contact Us Template from Page Attribute section
To manage map iframe please go to the Appearance » Customize » Theme Settings » Contact us page settings » Google Map Use iframe code url here. DO NOT APPLY IFRAME TAG

11. Page Templates & Sidebars

you can assign template to pages replace of default template.

Default Template
- Used to setting up the content on any page with Right Sidebar
Left Sidebar
- Used to setting up the content on any page with Left Sidebar
Full Width
- Used to setting up the content on any page without Sidebar
No Sidebar
- Used to setting up the content in center on any page without Sidebar
Contact Us
- Used to setting up the contact page.

12. Widgets

The WordPress widgets are used to manage sidebars:

Can manage sidebar from widgets (exa. blog sidebar and main sidebar)
If you want to remove default widget then please go to Appearance -> Widgets
Then you can add any section in that blog and main sidebar, so then default sidebar will get removed
Footer section can manage from footer widgets 1,2.3,4

To work on default sidebar Appearance » Customize » Theme Settings » Default Sidebar
